Attendance Management SystemAttendance Management System is a user-friendly, flexible and full featured employee attendance management tool, released by our partner - Time Masters Inc.
The system allows controlling employees’ attendance by automating timekeeping and attendance tracking. It captures data from Time and Attendance terminals such as Card Readers, Fingerprint Readers, Biometric Hand Readers and Face Readers, and simultaneously allows optional PC entry. Based on those IN and OUT punches polled from the devices, it automatically calculates employees’ work time and wages.
Main Functionality
Attendance Management System provides the following main functionality:
- HR functions
Attendance Management System enables performing such HR functions as tracking employee attendance, employee earliness and tardiness, transfers from one department or job to another, assigning schedules, applying rounding to In and Out punches, calculating overtime, and calculating employee worked hours and wages. - Payment policies
In Attendance Management System you can create as many pay policies as you need. By configuring pay policies you are given a possibility to define holiday payment rules, overtime payment rules, and also exceptions to be reported. Attendance Management System supports 3 levels of overtime and also 3 modes of overtime calculation, which are Daily Overtime, Weekly/Biweekly Overtime and Consecutive Days Overtime. - Shifts
Attendance Management System is designed to support as many shift groups as you need, which can include also unlimited individual shifts. The system is designed also to support flexible shifts, which have no fixed start and stop time. The system is also designed to support an assigning schedule with a floating shift, which assumes that the system will use the Shift´s Cutoff value to find the closest shift and automatically assign an employee to that closest shift. - Benefit Accruals
Attendance Management System supports 2 types of benfit hours' assignment: either manually or by automatically accruing. In case of accrual, system supports 6 types of posting period: annually, semiannualy, monthly, semimonthly, biweekly and weekly, at the end of which entered amount of benefit hours will be granted to the employee. The system also keeps track of used benefit hours and automatically calculates the balance. - Comprehensive Reporting System
Approximately 40 reports are included in the system, which can be generated for any employee and for any time period you need. Generation of each report is designed to be an easy process of a maximum 3 steps. Besides being displayed on the screen, reports can also be saved as different file formats (.doc, .xls, .pdf, etc.), printed or automatically sent to any e-mail recipient. - Status Board
This module is a good control tool which gives the supervisors a possibility to find out employees IN/OUT status at the current time or at any moment in the last 99 hours. It defines the following 5 statuses: Working, Absent, Outside, Lunch and Break. Also, if employee is working overtime, this screen also shows overtime hours. - Punch Analysis
In Attendance Management System there is a possibility to view the analysis of committed IN, OUT, LUNCH and BREAK punches. In the analysis are being compared scheduled and actual punch times and based on those differences you can see:
- How early or late punches were committed
- How many hours more or less than scheduled employee has worked
- Forecasting
This module will give a possibility to see the fore casted worked hours and wages of company’s employees for any time period. Data can be provided either for each employee separately or grouped by job, department, division, group, or headquarters. - Job/Department Costing
This module will allow defining an hourly wage for each job and/or department and calculating employees total wage based on the job they have done or on the department they have worked in. This feature will also give a possibility to find out how much is spent on each job and/or department. - Import

In Attendandce Management System there are two import features: import of employees and import of miscellaneous transactions.
Import of employees gives an opportunity to import data of employees (such as code, badge, first name, last name, gender, birth date, address, phone number, etc) from .txt and .csv files. - Employee Login

This feature is created to give employees a possibility to login into the system and view their timecard, schedule and benefits. Also employees will have an opportunity to send and receive messages to and from users, as well as send time off requests for benefit categories and see the status of requests: either approved or denied. - Device Polling
This module enables polling information from time and attendance terminals, and also synchronization of changes in PC´s date and time with devices. - Virtual Device (PC Clock)
PC Clock allows employees to perform all standard in/out actions at their PC. As far as it can completely imitate the performance of Time and Attendance devices, this feature can help you to ensure the continuous work of the system in case there are some problems with Time and Attendance devices and data cannot be captured from them. - Badge Transfer/Backup/Restore
Using this feature, Attendance Management System users are given a possibility to transfer employee info included in devices (badge number, biometric data, etc.) from one device to another. This feature helps prevent performing double work. Once you have created a badge by any device you can easily transfer it to other devices. - Manage Badges
Using this feature, Attendance Management System users are given a possibility to edit the security level of badges enrolled in the devices or delete unnecessary badges. - Database Backup and Restore
Attendance Management System provides also a database backup and restore tool, which is a very valuable tool for archiving the data of the system and minimizes the risk of losing the information. - Database Optimization
Attendance Management System offers a database management tool, such as database optimization, which will ensure efficient use of server hard disk. - Alarms
This module enables warning system users about some actions which should be performed in order to ensure the full functioning of the system. All alarm types are optional and, if not needed, can be disabled from the program’s Settings. - Settings Configuration Wizard
Settings configuration wizard is designed to help first-time users to configure system´s main settings by giving detailed step-by-step instructions and showing the right order of configuring system´s settings. - Auto Processes
Auto Processes feature is a powerful tool for efficient use of time, as it enables automating the execution of some daily tasks. Each user can define any schedule for execution of tasks according to his convenience, as this information is being stored locally on the user´s PC. The tasks being supported by Attendance Management System are as follows: Polling Device, Optimizing Database, Generating and Automatically Sending Report and Database Backup. - Bell Ringing
This module allows creating bell schedules according to which devices will be activated to ring a bell. The schedule defines days of the week, time of the day and duration of the ring. - Employee Messaging
Attendance Management System can enable displaying any message defined by you on time and attendance terminals after employee validation. - Device Access Control

This feature provides a possibility to restrict employee’s access to the devices by time (in case the device has time restriction feature). If you need, you can also configure so that the same employee will have access to the same device on different days of week at different hours. This feature may help the companies to increase security and ensure better control of people entering offices, factories or company’s any other facilities. - Access via Internet
In Attendance Management System there is a possibility to access the Server via Internet connection. The only thing that you will need for that is to have Internet connection on your PC and on the server where the program’s database is stored.
This is an excellent feature for those cases when the database should be available from the remote locations. Due to this feature, for instance, top managers will have a possibility to access the program’s database while being abroad.
This feature will ensure more convenient use of the software, and may also result in reducing costs.

Attendance Management System is designed to work with 4 types of Time and Attendance Terminals:
Devices can be connected to the computer by any of the following 4 types of connection:
- COM Port
- Local Area Network (LAN)
- USB Port (only for AMG-FP20 fingerprint readers and AMG-P10 card readers)
- Modem (only for Biometric Hand Readers)
If connection to the computer is not possible, then transactions data can be transferred from devices to computer also via USB Flash.
