ICT Leaders Meeting in Tsaxkadzor"ICT Leaders Meeting" forum was held in "Kecharis" rest-house in Tsaxkadzor from 12th to 13th June. The aim of the forum was to discuss ICT sphere's educational problems in an unofficial atmosphere.
Organizers of the forum were Union of Information Technologies Enterprises, RA Ministry of Economy and RA Ministry of Education and Science.
- Motivation problems of educational process participants (professors, students, state agencies)
- Establishing connection between educational service providers (universities) and clients (business, public sector, parents)
- How to reestablish universities as scientific and research centers
- Presentations of solutions in educational sphere
- Professional and long-term learning: education in the army and problems of foreign languages
About 90 representatives of ICT and Education spheres, corresponding ministries, agencies, and NGOs took part in the event. RA Economy minister Nerses Yeritsyan also visited the forum.
This time again, directors of some startup IT companies participated in the forum with the financial support of USAID Competitive Armenian Private Sector (CAPS) project. Among them was also director of Flexible Applications CJSC.
